2nd Annual Open Class Car Show for Kosair Children's Hospital sponsored by
Wal-Mart & Sam's Club, Clarksville, Indiana. Sam's Club parking lot. I-65,
exit 5 Veteran's Pkwy. Sat., May 17, 2008, 9AM-3PM - Rain date Sun., May
18, 2008. Registration 9AM-12 Noon. Entry Fee $10.00. Cars must be driven
in to the show lot and registered by 12 Noon - NO EXCEPTIONS. Judging by
car owners. Top 60 trophies. Best of Show judged by VIP Quality Awards,
Store Mgr's Pick, Sam's Club Pick, plus ADDITIONAL Specialty trophies.
Door Prize drawings for registered vehicles only. DJ * FOOD * RAFFLES *
50/50 * $$Money$$ giveaways of $50 every hour!!! Prizes to include (but
not limited to) cases of oil, hats, shirts, chairs, TV's, stereo,
detailing supplies, etc. Hot dogs $1.00, hamburgers $1.25, cheeseburgers
$1.50, Cokes $1.00. Where else can you go and get this much for only $10

Summer Place, "a real 50's town" is having its annual car show on
Saturday, May 24, 2008. The proceeds benefit “A Home for Every Child
Foundation.” Your admission is tax deductible. Trophies will be awarded to
the top 15 cars. A Summer Place Car Show t-shirt will be given to all
pre-registered entries and dash plaques given to all car entries!
Spend an enjoyable afternoon while strolling down Memory Lane to a unique,
one-of-a-kind place! Listen to the disc jockey spinning the tunes from the
50’s and 60’s and enjoy old movies playing continuously in the movie
theater! Also, old “500” race cars, sprint cars, round-track cars and
midgets from the 50’s will be on display! Burgers, fries and old-fashioned
flavored cokes will be served in our own Angel’s Diner all afternoon.
Banana Splits will also be available for just $3 each.
Admission is $5 per person. Children under 12 are free. Car show
pre-registration fee is $15 and includes a free t-shirt. Day of show
registration fee is $15 (does not include t-shirt). Pre-registration
entries must be postmarked by May 10, 2008. Entry fees payable to “A Home
for Every Child Foundation.” All car show entries receive a dash plaque
and free admission to Summer Place. Meal tickets are available for
everyone at $6 each. Gates open at 11 am. The car show begins at 12 pm.
The car judging will be at 3 pm. Summer Place is located at 4190 North
